Southeast Tucson (Vail, Corona de Tucson)

Growing Community

Southeast Tucson, which includes the communities of Vail and Corona de Tucson, has seen significant development in recent years. Vail, originally a station and water stop on the Southern Pacific Railroad, has developed into a vibrant residential area with a mix of housing styles, particularly with the development of Rancho Del Lago, a master-planned community.

Homes in Vail range from newer home style developments, built from the early 1980s to the present, to more ranches, farms, and horse properties on larger lots. This area offers a blend of modern suburban living with the charm of rural Arizona.

Corona de Tucson, located just south of Vail, is another area experiencing rapid growth, with many new construction homes being built as the area continues to grow and develop. This area offers a mix of one-story and two-story homes, many of which are designed with modern amenities and spacious floor plans.
